One of my main thrills in life is to look at before and afters... They can be of just about anything and I will stare forever. I especially love beauty makeovers, yard makeovers, home decor redo's and whole room makeovers.
I'm always shopping for something that is currently "less than desirable," and turning it into something fabulous. Here is one of my projects.
I found this old window frame and all I could think was, "What a cute jewelry holder!"
What you Need to make this:
1. A frame, can be a picture frame, but a window works better because of the flat surfaces to attach the hooks to.
2. Chicken wire. I went for one that was in small squares. You can find it with even smaller squares or the large hexagon form.
3. Paint, I prefer spray paint.
4. Wire cutters
5. Coat Hooks
Cut your Chicken Wire to fit in the back slot of the frame.
Paint your frame and wire. I liked the color of the frame so I left it, but I went for a much lighter shade on the wire, I wanted to break it up.
Place wire into frame. You can use a utility stapler, small upholstery tacks, or Hot Glue!
Put your hooks on.
This is such a great idea!! I am going to have to give this a go!
