Moscow

Isn't Moscow absolutely BEAUTIFUL in May...
We'll miss hills like this.

Slurpie-O

Our favorite past time...
Going to the "Yellow" park
{that's what Taya calls Hordemann's Pond}

And getting "Slurpie-O's"
{again another Taya word}

We all enjoy them!

A Steal of a Deal

The other day we were at Wal-mart and found an AMAZING deal.
Fleece, footie PJ's for $1 each.  I wanted to stock up of course...
I thought it would be a good idea to get each girl 2 pairs one size up from where they currently are.
Taya is a 3T so I wanted 4T, Paige is a 2T & I was going to get her 3T.
Tanner thought we should get them in the largest size so the girls can wear them till there are holes in them.

We ended up with 4 pairs of 5T PJ's...
Poor Paige can't even walk.

{We went back and got her a pair of 3T}
Sorry Tanner, but sometimes I really am right...

A day at the Park

We've had a very rainy/ yucky spring.

Luckily when Tanner's parents got here, we had the nicest day this year...
We went to the PARK!

{we took a blanket so Taya could have a "pit-nit" picnic}

The girls with their Grandma Crowther...

The ducks were quite the celebrities.

Tanner's dad cooked us up some very yummy hot dogs and hamburgers.

Our friends even stopped by for some play time.
We all left tired a sunburned.

The Old European Restaurant.
It was a fun and yummy time!

Party

After Tanner's Graduation we had to have a P-A-R-T-Y

Tanner's parents and 3 of his sisters came for the celebration.
Thanks guys we had a blast!

Aren't this galvanized metal name placements ADORABLE.
You just use chalk to write on them...
{thanks Stacey for letting me borrow them and your amazing plates}

Tanner smoked some yummy baby back ribs and a beef brisket.  It was amazingly delicious... We had s'mores for desert.

Taya got her very own table...

Paige was not happy to be on the floor.
It was a very fun time!

Graduation

He did it!
Tanner GRADUATED on Saturday from Law school.

My camera took very fuzzy pictures, sorry!
Here's our handsome grad.
{this is the grads walking in}

{now notice his Purple Hood... That is for Law}

These are all the pictures I got...
Tanner rented his cap and gown and sadly returned them
 before we found him to take some pictures with our Graduate.

A Cake Stand or Two

I get these weird kicks!
I decided to make my own cake stands.
I went to the thrift store and picked up some materials.

I of course used Tanner's fletching glue to hold everything together.

I sprayed with a few coats of white paint

I really like them, but do I really need 3 cake stands... No

It's ok, I'll probably just give them as gifts!

Tanner Got A Suprise

I "secretly" sold our Grill & Smoker at the Yard Sale last week.  T
anner figured out the grill was gone and he was not happy with me...
{I totally fibbed and said "I just wanted to de-clutter"}

He was very surprised when this showed up at our door step...

His very own Traeger.

Thanks Mama Seasa, and Papa!

Tanner keeps checking outside at all hours, just to make sure it hasn't vanished, like a dream

{thank goodness he never figured out I had sold the Smoker!}

A Banner

Here is the banner I made for Tanner's grad party.
They're really simple to make...
Just in case you've never made one, I've included my instructions.

Materials:
Fabric {I used 1 yard}
Bias Tape {the length you want your banner}
Sewing machine
Iron & Board
Triangle {I made mine}
Rotary cutter/ scissors

Make a template!
I used a cereal box and simple drew a triangle on it.
Make sure you make it 1/2" bigger than you want. {allowance for seams}

Sew {2 sides, don't do the top} right sides together and turn out.
Use scissor tip to push out.

Press with steam

Space triangles and sew in middle of bias tape

You have a cute banner!

Cost around $10 unless you use fabric you have laying around!
